Mom Tri's Kitchen
Mom Tri's Kitchen is the restaurant at Villa Royale, on the hillside above Kata Noi Beach. It serves a mix of Thai, continental and fusion dishes from a terrace overlooking the bay, and the wine cellar holds more than 750 labels.
It is the best-known special-occasion restaurant in the Kata and Karon area, which otherwise has few serious kitchens. Prices are high, with most dishes about ฿980-2,800 (about USD 29-83), and the setting justifies much of it.
It is open daily from breakfast until late evening. Book a terrace table for sunset.
Guest Reviews
We absolutely love this restaurant. For us, Mom Tri’s is the best place in Phuket for the perfect combination of amazing food, beautiful ambience and wonderful service. We have dinner here every time we come to Phuket, and it is always one of the highlights of our trip. I always have the same main course — the Rock Lobster Trilogy, which I absolutely love. When we visited last week, I was so disappointed to find that it had been taken off the menu, so I ordered the Lobster Thermidor instead, which was very nice. However, we spoke to a lovely member of staff, Trip, who suggested that we ask if the kitchen could make the Rock Lobster Trilogy for us. They very kindly agreed and it was absolutely amazing! A huge thank you to Trip and the chefs for making it happen — it really made my evening. What makes Mom Tri’s so special, though, is the whole experience. All of the staff are fantastic and genuinely seem to enjoy working there. From the bar staff and waiters to the chefs and the wonderful piano player, everyone plays a part in creating such a warm and special atmosphere. It is one of those places where you can relax, enjoy beautiful food and surroundings, and make an evening of it. Tonight is our last night in Phuket and, for us, there is nowhere we would rather spend it than Mom Tri’s. Thank you to everyone for another wonderful experience. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
We had a group dinner and an evening filled with good food, nice wine and great view by the seaside /cliff. We enjoyed the sunset as well. Nice choice of food with western influences as well as fusion mixed with Thai elements.
Very special place. Views are extraordinary, food was amazing. Service great. Take your time and relax. Great not only for sunset views, I came after and views at crushing waves were just as impressive.
We had such a lovely evening, and I’m really glad we chose your restaurant. A big thank you to Khun Kob for the wonderful food and wine recommendations, you really know your stuff and made the experience even better. If it’s your first time here like it was for me, don’t be shy to ask for recommendations. Ask for Khun Kob or Khun Vic — both are fantastic and will happily guide you through the menu and wine selection. I’ll definitely be back next time, the goat curry was absolutely amazing!
Really amazing dishes The fish felt like same day from the sea And really unique authentic tastes They also gave us amazing table

Baan Rim Pa
Baan Rim Pa has served Royal Thai cuisine to Patong visitors for more than 30 years. It moved from its original cliff at the end of Patong Beach to a new clifftop site around the headland at Kalim in about 2015, and the setting is still the reason most people book: candlelit terraces, a teak-house dining room and a view back across Patong Bay.

Black Ginger
Black Ginger is the most theatrical arrival in Phuket dining. At The Slate on Nai Yang Beach, near the airport, a raft carries you across a lagoon to a traditional Thai house on the far side. Chef Anongrat "Piak" Meklai cooks Southern Thai recipes, and the cooking is good enough to justify the entrance.

Blue Elephant Phuket
Blue Elephant Phuket occupies one of the grandest buildings in the old town: a restored Sino-Portuguese mansion built by the tin baron Phra Phitak Chinpracha, on Krabi Road. The high-ceilinged yellow dining rooms make it the most formal restaurant in Phuket Town.
