Baan Rim Pa
Baan Rim Pa has served Royal Thai cuisine to Patong visitors for more than 30 years. It moved from its original cliff at the end of Patong Beach to a new clifftop site around the headland at Kalim in about 2015, and the setting is still the reason most people book: candlelit terraces, a teak-house dining room and a view back across Patong Bay.
The cooking is traditional rather than inventive, with refined versions of curries, salads and seafood dishes and a long wine list. It is a polished, old-school dinner, and the room suits anniversaries and proposals.
It is open daily from noon until 11pm. Online bookings need 24 hours' notice, and the terrace tables at sunset go first, so request one when you reserve.

The food at this restaurant was honestly so good, I really enjoyed it. The sunset view was nice, too. I’d say it’s more of a bonus that adds to the atmosphere rather than the main reason to come. And if you find it a little too hot while having dinner, remember to take a quick trip to the restroom for a few minutes—it’s surprisingly clean, cool, and refreshing! 🤓
Beautiful restaurant with an amazing sea view. The atmosphere was truly relaxing and the scenery during dinner was absolutely stunning, especially with the ocean breeze and sunset view. The food was good and overall we had a nice dining experience. The only downside was that the service could be improved a little, as some of the staff were not very attentive. I would highly recommend making a reservation at least one day in advance and requesting a seaside table — the view is definitely worth it.
Perched on the cliffs with stunning ocean views, Baan Rim Pa delivers an unforgettable dining experience. The food was exceptional—beautifully presented, full of authentic Thai flavours, and every dish was cooked to perfection. Combined with the breathtaking setting and attentive service, this is easily one of the best restaurants in Phuket. Highly recommended for a special evening.
Lovely restaurant. one of the nicer and higher end places to dine at near Patong Beach. The main attraction is the location (cliff-side) and the view. very beautiful if you manage to get a table at the balcony overlooking the ocean. we made last min reservations and didn't get a table by the sea. but the view is still pretty good. we ordered the set meal (for dinner). the portion was rather big. more than enough per pax. Seafood was fresh and presentation was lovely. did not get picts of the food cos was too excited to dig in.
Very delicious dinner and we had a sunset table organised for us. Dine between 1730 to 1930 to catch the most beautiful sunset. Very colourful dishes to share in a group rather than a couple. Pork stew was amazing!

Black Ginger
Black Ginger is the most theatrical arrival in Phuket dining. At The Slate on Nai Yang Beach, near the airport, a raft carries you across a lagoon to a traditional Thai house on the far side. Chef Anongrat "Piak" Meklai cooks Southern Thai recipes, and the cooking is good enough to justify the entrance.

Blue Elephant Phuket
Blue Elephant Phuket occupies one of the grandest buildings in the old town: a restored Sino-Portuguese mansion built by the tin baron Phra Phitak Chinpracha, on Krabi Road. The high-ceilinged yellow dining rooms make it the most formal restaurant in Phuket Town.

Heh
Heh is a modern seafood restaurant on Yaowarat Road in Phuket Town. Chef-owner Nattaphon "Oat" Othanawathakij trained in Melbourne and won Iron Chef Thailand in 2021. His kitchen dry-ages line-caught local fish and cooks it over charcoal, and Michelin lists the cooking as contemporary with a Melbourne influence. Heh is in the Michelin Guide, and BK Magazine included it in its Top Tables 2026.
