Black Ginger

We had our 5th year anniversary dinner here and it was by far one of the most memorable dinners we have ever had.. Wouldn’t recommend children because it takes away from the experience. We tried the full meals from the chefs dishes. Honestly the first time in Thailand I got to experience exquisite Thai food. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend making this one of your stops while you’re in Phuket.

The atmosphere: out of this world. The service: friendly and swift. The food: as good as it gets if you try the Black Ginger menu. High quality ingredients, perfectly balanced prepared. I assure you: you cannot eat a menu like this in too many places in Phuket. Crab curry (!!!), prawns (!), lobster (!!!): all superbly cooked. Fish and pineapple: one of the highlights of the menu. Wagyu, pork: fatty goodness. Dessert: not a Thai forte :-) But what an experience it was. Do not mind the IG crowd. Embrace the moment once you’ve crossed the pond. Can you eat cheaper and equally good elsewhere? Most certainly (but not this menu in this setting). Will your trip to Thailand be less good if you skip this restaurant? Hell no. But will our trip to Thailand be more memorable now that we visited Black Ginger? Ow yes!

This place was bombbbb! The food was soo good m! We did a tasting menu for around 70 bucks for 12 courses. They bring out a couple courses at a time. We went to two other high end restaurants before coming here and spent 200-400 for those so to come here and it’s only 70 bucks we were so stoked. The place is beautiful. I do wish the music was a little mix It seemed like the same song over and over. The drinks were literally out favorite, I don’t drink that often I want to say I probably had 6-7 drinks here because they were literally so delicious. I also loved getting over to the restaurant on a little dock that gets pulled over by staff. I would absolutely be back here if I’m in Phuket and would definitely recommend this place!

Refined tastes of menu with Thai dishes. The tasting menu offered a great selection. Especially enjoyed the river prawn with salad, swimmer crab in curry, and the braised pork belly was wonderfully done. Great service and lovely interiors to match the meal.

The scenery is out of an adventure movie and fits into the concept. Great dishes with very good taste worth the money. Service is helpful and always on time. Worth a vist. Reservation is needed.
