Lock Tien
Lock Tien is where Phuket Town's Hokkien food culture has been served for decades. For most of its life it was a food court on the corner of Dibuk and Yaowarat roads. In 2025 the same family moved about 650 metres south to a single shophouse at 59/14 Bangkok Road, with one kitchen instead of several stalls.
The menu is the same: Hokkien fried noodles, o-tao (a sticky oyster and taro omelette), fresh po pia spring rolls and lo ba (deep-fried pork offal with dipping sauce). This is Phuket street food at its most essential.
Most dishes cost ฿30-100 (about USD 1-3). It is open daily from 9am to 7pm, so plan it for breakfast or lunch rather than dinner.

Great service! Quick and kind! We got the pork spring rolls, stir fried yellow noodles and Tom yum noodle soup! Everything was flavourful and delicious! The Tom yum soup was spicier than we expected but still delicious! The yellow noodles were our favourite!!
Please come here! Very delicious pad Thai with the char! And Thai basil rice was also amazing. I recommend to everyone. Staff are so nice and attentive.
The service was super great and quick, the food came out fast and was delicious. The sauce with the chicken satay had a really nice flavour and both the rice dishes were fantastic. The smoothies tasted very fresh and ripe, I would definitely recommend stopping in. The prices were also amazing especially in the area.
We first came here on a food tour in Phuket Town and liked it so much we came back on our own. It is a family run place, only a short walk from the centre and worth a visit. The restaurant has recently moved, but it is still run by the same family who have been operating in Phuket Town for more than 100 years across four generations, so don’t be put off by there not being many reviews yet. Their Hokkien noodles were the best we ate in Phuket and the Phuket sausage is another dish you should try. Staff were lovely and friendly and looked after us well.
The food was ok and service was fast and professional. They speak good English. Menu is a bit limited. There is seating and a/c and it is very cheap.

Baan Rim Pa
Baan Rim Pa has served Royal Thai cuisine to Patong visitors for more than 30 years. It moved from its original cliff at the end of Patong Beach to a new clifftop site around the headland at Kalim in about 2015, and the setting is still the reason most people book: candlelit terraces, a teak-house dining room and a view back across Patong Bay.

Black Ginger
Black Ginger is the most theatrical arrival in Phuket dining. At The Slate on Nai Yang Beach, near the airport, a raft carries you across a lagoon to a traditional Thai house on the far side. Chef Anongrat "Piak" Meklai cooks Southern Thai recipes, and the cooking is good enough to justify the entrance.

Blue Elephant Phuket
Blue Elephant Phuket occupies one of the grandest buildings in the old town: a restored Sino-Portuguese mansion built by the tin baron Phra Phitak Chinpracha, on Krabi Road. The high-ceilinged yellow dining rooms make it the most formal restaurant in Phuket Town.
