hom
hom is the fine-dining restaurant at the InterContinental Phuket Resort on Kamala Bay. The cooking is built around fermentation and Thai produce, served as a tasting menu. Tatler Best Thailand gave hom a Spotlight Award in 2026, it ranked No. 4 in the TOP25 Restaurants Phuket and Southern Thailand awards for 2025, and it is in the Michelin Guide.
The kitchen changed in July 2026. Chef de cuisine Marcelo Baruch, formerly of Lanhyai in Bangkok, now leads the team with R&D chef Guillem Aran, and their new menu, Tribhumikatha, comes in six or nine courses.
hom serves dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 6:30pm. InterContinental Phuket Resort ★ 4.8's other Michelin-listed restaurant, Jaras, serves a seasonal Thai tasting menu.

Fully 5 star experience. Haute cuisine. Menu and focus is on different fermentation processes and ingredients. Each dish (I think) had a fermented element. Innovative and delicious. 10 course tasting menu. Wine pairing was clearly well considered/high quality. Restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star...yet. Would recommend going before it does! The venue itself is incredible. Perfect for special date. Great for showing off Phuket's finest to your foodie friends.
Such a beautiful and memorable dining experience at HOM. Everything felt incredibly thoughtful, from the setting and atmosphere to the presentation and storytelling behind each dish. The food was creative, delicate, and full of unexpected flavors, and the service made the whole experience feel even more special. Definitely one of the most unique dining experiences we had in Phuket and absolutely worth visiting if you’re looking for something beyond a traditional fine-dining dinner.
This is the third chef from Hom that I have dined with. Let me tell you, this is hands down, the best menu I've had here. Chef Marcelo's menu is welll thought out, harmonious, pays homage to the local regional terroir...the story telling... The execution. In short, it just clicks and comes together beautifully. Service is top notch as always. Bravo to the entire culinary team 👏💪
Visited in Mar 2026 Nestled in the beautiful premises of the Intercontinental Resort, Hom is a restaurant which offers an innovative interpretation of Thai cuisine using time tested and modern culinary practices. The restaurant’s menu is a reflection of some of the core principles the chef & his team follow - such as using fermentation and hyper-local ingredients/produce in their dishes. I chose the 10 course Moments menu and I would strongly recommend people to go with this as it gives you the opportunity to experience a wide range of creativity the restaurant has to offer. Every course of the menu brought a wonderful flavour profile, and the chef’s strong lean towards fermentation techniques is evident in almost all the courses. The duck main course was my favourite dish. Other courses I liked were the Barley & Soft Shell Crab and the Mushroom Pie & Sake. Service was beyond excellent with the restaurant staff exhibiting utmost professionalism and grace in ensuring that all guests are treated well and have a comfortable time during their meals. Overall, a really good dining experience in what is possibly the most grand restaurant building I’ve ever been to.
Had very high expectations and they were exceeded. My husband and I celebrated our birthdays at hom. The service was excellent, we felt really well taken care of. Fermented theme for the moments was balanced well, delicious. The seafood was amazing. Of course the presentation was so exquisite. The Sawan Pavilion is really special, truly heavenly. 🪽🫧🌕

Baan Rim Pa
Baan Rim Pa has served Royal Thai cuisine to Patong visitors for more than 30 years. It moved from its original cliff at the end of Patong Beach to a new clifftop site around the headland at Kalim in about 2015, and the setting is still the reason most people book: candlelit terraces, a teak-house dining room and a view back across Patong Bay.

Black Ginger
Black Ginger is the most theatrical arrival in Phuket dining. At The Slate on Nai Yang Beach, near the airport, a raft carries you across a lagoon to a traditional Thai house on the far side. Chef Anongrat "Piak" Meklai cooks Southern Thai recipes, and the cooking is good enough to justify the entrance.

Blue Elephant Phuket
Blue Elephant Phuket occupies one of the grandest buildings in the old town: a restored Sino-Portuguese mansion built by the tin baron Phra Phitak Chinpracha, on Krabi Road. The high-ceilinged yellow dining rooms make it the most formal restaurant in Phuket Town.
