Heh

Heh is a modern seafood restaurant on Yaowarat Road in Phuket Town. Chef-owner Nattaphon "Oat" Othanawathakij trained in Melbourne and won Iron Chef Thailand in 2021. His kitchen dry-ages line-caught local fish and cooks it over charcoal, and Michelin lists the cooking as contemporary with a Melbourne influence. Heh is in the Michelin Guide, and BK Magazine included it in its Top Tables 2026.

The menu is à la carte, with dishes from about ฿219 to ฿499. Allow around ฿1,000++ per person (about USD 30).

Heh is closed Tuesday and Wednesday. It serves dinner from 5pm on the other days and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

One of the best dining spots in Phuket Town. The food is creative, fresh, and perfectly balanced, especially the seafood which really stands out. Every dish is well executed without being overcomplicated, and you can feel the quality of the ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed but stylish, great for a date night or dinner with friends. Service is friendly and attentive, with staff happy to explain the menu. A must visit if you enjoy modern cuisine with bold flavors and a refined touch. Definitely worth coming back.

Walked in hoping to get table without reservation and was not disappointed. Delicious food, the wine was chilled to perfection. I ended up having 2 of the specials sashimi, crudo, the rack of lamb as per suggestion from the server and the cheesy cauliflower. I almost attempted to have dessert but realized that might be overzealous.

A great dinning experience near the Phuket old town. Such a delicate place is certainly scarce in Phuket. The beef cheek is nicely done, the curry sea bass is awesome, highly recommended. And the ice cream is a must try. Service is prompted and super nice.

This was EXCEPTIONAL! Amazingly kind staff, very laidback and cool vibes. The menu was exciting - Australian focused dishes well deserving of the Michelin recommendations for 3 years in a row. Focaccia with fig jam and smoky vegemite butter; barramundi pan fried with yuzu buerre blanc; date pudding & ice cream. Everything was wonderful 🙏🏼💙
