Casa Angelina
The coast's most design-forward hotel, Casa Angelina is a study in Mediterranean minimalism: all white surfaces, clean lines, and vast windows framing the sea. It is a striking counterpoint to the baroque opulence of properties like Palazzo Avino.
The hotel's own Un Piano Nel Cielo holds a Michelin star, and the rooftop bar is one of the best sunset spots in Praiano. The location keeps you clear of the worst crowds while remaining about fifteen minutes from Positano by bus or boat.
Doubles start from around EUR 400. Choose Casa Angelina for contemporary calm and west-facing sunsets.

We could not have asked for a more attentive, engaged and caring staff. From arranging for a doctor visit, or miraculously getting us “Fast Pass” at the airport ( our driver was 45 minutes late) without which we certainly would have missed our flight or the very least, gotten separated from our luggage. In so many instances, from house keeping, to dining, to the concierges desk, the team at Casa Angelina exceeded our expectations resulting in the most elevated and enjoyable hotel stay we have ever experienced. Well done! We hope to visit with you again, in the mean time, we are “raving fans”, encouraging anyone considering a visit to the Amalfi coast to plan some of their stay at Casa Angelina.
It's been several months since our trip to Casa Angelina for my wife's birthday in October. The first thing you notice about this hotel is how well kept the hotel and property are. The staff does not miss a beat and they are the friendliest and most helpful of any place in Europe that I have stayed thus far. The staff goes over and above to make your stay special. The meals are exquisite and the breakfast buffet is like no other. Dinner each night was equally special especially at there Michelin starred restaurant. Our room was so beautiful with a large terrace overlooking the sea and the majestic mountain scapes. Access to neighboring towns is made easy with a simple request from staff. Praiano is such a beautiful quaint town with many great restaurants as well. The staff is really what makes this place though. The resort is quiet, unassuming luxury. I can't wait to return. Thank you for a very special time at your resort.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Angelina, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. My experience was remarkable, especially considering the challenges I faced during my stay. While on vacation, I encountered a medical crisis, and the staff at Casa Angelina went above and beyond to assist me. They were incredibly accommodating and arranged for a doctor to visit me in my hotel room, providing the necessary medical attention I needed. Their swift response and genuine care made a difficult situation much more manageable. Throughout my stay, every member of the staff was not only professional but also very kind and attentive. Their warmth and willingness to help truly stood out, making me feel valued and supported. The atmosphere of the hotel itself is serene and welcoming, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. Casa Angelina is a gem, and I am grateful for the exceptional service I received during my time there. I highly recommend Casa Angelina to anyone seeking a beautiful hotel with outstanding service. I look forward to returning in the future! Thank you, Casa Angelina, for making my stay so memorable! Best regards, Dr. Kimberly Patterson
Truly a five-star experience from start to finish! From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel personally cared for, attending to every detail - from the fresh flowers delivered daily to the luxurious in-room toiletries and thoughtful amenities. The on-site restaurant, Piano Nel Cielo, led by the talented and gracious Chef Elefante, was absolutely exceptional. Even their complimentary breakfast was amazing. Casa Angelina has set the bar incredibly high - an unforgettable stay in every way! We loved staying in this little slice of heaven away from the crowds, with complimentary shuttle access to easily visit Positano. Highly recommend to anyone considering staying here.
Our stay at Casa Angelina in Praiano was an experience in perfection. From the moment we arrived, every aspect of hospitality was elevated by genuine care and attention. Chef Leopoldo Elefante deserves particular praise for his artistry and devotion to his craft. His passion for his garden and his ingredients was evident in every dish, each one executed with precision and heart. Every member of the staff mirrored that same dedication. The service was flawless, the atmosphere serene, and the sense of welcome unmistakable. The gym was immaculate, the breakfast unforgettable, and the view beyond words. The private shuttle to and from Positano made exploring effortless and refined. Casa Angelina is the embodiment of true luxury, where every detail reflects thought, pride, and sincerity. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who values excellence, authenticity, and the kind of comfort that defines world class hospitality.
More Hotels in Amalfi Coast

Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel
A thirteenth-century Capuchin convent turned luxury hotel, the Convento sits above Amalfi town with expansive views along the coast. The cloister, with its Arab-Norman arches and citrus garden, is magnificent, and the infinity pool overlooking the town and the sea is excellent.

Belmond Hotel Caruso
The infinity pool at Hotel Caruso, set in the gardens of an eleventh-century palazzo, appears to merge directly with the sea 300 metres below. It is, without exaggeration, one of the most photographed hotel pools in the world.

Il San Pietro di Positano
If Le Sirenuse represents old-world Positano elegance, Il San Pietro is its slightly wilder counterpart. Built into the cliff face just south of town, the hotel is reached by a road that descends through the rock to a lobby perched above the sea, and a private lift drops guests to a beach club at water level.
