Trisara
Trisara opened in 2004 on a private bay at Nai Thon, on Phuket's northwest coast. It has 39 pool villas and suites, each with ocean views, plus private residences. The MICHELIN Guide promoted it to two Keys in 2026.
The resort's main draw for food lovers is PRU ★ 4.4, Phuket's only Michelin-starred restaurant. Thai Library, which is also in the Michelin Guide, serves refined Southern Thai cooking, and La Crique serves French seafood.
Trisara is quieter and more self-contained than the resorts further south, which suits guests who plan to spend most of their time on the property.
Guest Reviews
From check-in to check-out, the staff were very kind to us and our five children. Even after we had checked out, Trisara staff found us at the airport and kindly helped us with our luggage check-in and guided us smoothly through the airport up to the point before immigration. We were truly impressed. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The Sunday brunch was delicious, and I was especially touched when they played Stevie Wonder’s “I Just Called to Say I Love You” after I requested it. The beach BBQ at night was also wonderful, and there were even fireworks. The food at Thai Library, PRU, Cielo & Spice, and La Crique was all absolutely delicious.
I brought my father and sister to Trisara for my fourth visit. We had few issues during first couple days, and we were disappointed to see spa building under innovation but very pleased to see the new equipments at the gym. Kudos to Sabina who helped resolve our issues and exceeded my expectations to make our stay memorable for everyone. I had some doubt at the beginning of our stay, but Sabina and her team made me a believer in Trisara once again. We definitely will return to our favorite place in Phuket for the fifth time.
We had a bit of a rocky start on our first day at Trisara, and honestly, we were beginning to wonder if we had made the right choice. However, everything changed thanks to Sabina and her incredible team, especially Por, who completely turned our experience around. Their dedication really showed how crucial a strong Guest Relations team is for a property like this. From that moment on, we enjoyed truly wonderful days. The F&B offerings could use some improvement, and service in the restaurants and on the beach would likely benefit from more visible management presence. That said, the spa is absolutely fantastic, and our room was in excellent condition, especially considering the property’s age. Overall, thanks to the team’s exceptional support, Trisara became an unforgettable experience.
One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited. From the moment you arrive, you are surrounded by a luxurious atmosphere that extends throughout the entire property. The views are truly unforgettable and create a truly special experience. We spent our honeymoon here and couldn’t have chosen a better place. Everything was perfectly organized – from the seamless airport pickup to the exceptional return service, including luggage handling and check-in assistance. The staff is incredibly attentive and professional, anticipating every need so that nothing is left to be desired. The food was prepared with great attention to detail and tasted just as amazing as it looked. The hotel is perfect for relaxing. While you need a scooter or car to reach the nearest town, we didn’t mind at all. A truly outstanding stay – we will definitely be back.
Very disappointing experience. The resort is significantly more dated than the photos and positioning suggest, and in our view nowhere near the luxury standard the pricing implies. We also discovered upon arrival that wellness facilities were under renovation, which had not been communicated beforehand. While the staff were polite, management was unwilling to offer any meaningful solution or flexibility when we raised our concerns and requested to shorten our stay. At this price point, there are far better options in Phuket. Unfortunately, we would not return and cannot recommend Trisara.
