Rosewood Phuket
Rosewood Phuket opened in November 2017 on Emerald Bay at Tri Trang Beach, just south of Patong. It was Rosewood's first resort in Southeast Asia, with 71 pool pavilions and villas spread across 43 acres and about 600 metres of beach. The MICHELIN Guide gave it two Keys in 2026.
The resort feels far from Patong despite being minutes away by car. Its restaurants include Ta Khai ★ 4.6, a Michelin-listed Southern Thai seafood restaurant, as well as Red Sauce for Italian food and The Shack for charcoal-grilled seafood.

I don’t have enough words to describe how beautiful this resort is, or how grateful we are for the incredible food and outstanding service. But what truly makes this place unique and unforgettable is its people. From the front desk team and the drivers who are always happy to take you wherever you need to go, to the chefs and the entire front-of-house team, every single person has been exceptional. We have been treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The team pays attention to every little detail and goes above and beyond to make you feel special, cared for, and genuinely happy. Everyone has been absolutely wonderful, and we are so grateful to the entire team for giving us such an incredible experience. I would especially like to thank Bibi from the bar, as we had the opportunity to chat more with her. Her kindness, warm personality, and lovely service made us feel even more welcome and special. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable. The resort is truly beautiful, the food is outstanding, but it is the people who make it magical. We will leave with beautiful memories and so much appreciation for all of you! ❤️
Second Time Here – Truly Exceptional and Nourishing Stay! For the second time just proved that this place is a perfect sanctuary. It is deeply calming, soothing, and impeccable in its service. The absolute standout of our trip was the holistic breakfast menu designed by Chef Luca, who has been here since the grand opening. He has curated a mindful eating experience that avoids generic, copy-paste hotel food. Every single dish is beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, delicious, and deeply healthy. Chef Luca is incredibly talented, and every breakfast was a nourishing highlight of our day. A massive cheers to Luca and his dedicated team! – Vlada and Pedro Sousa
We’ve just returned from an amazing stay at Rosewood Phuket and already can’t wait to come back. Unfortunately, we arrived right in the middle of a storm and the weather was pretty rainy for most of our trip. Normally that might have put a dampener on things, but the resort and staff made sure we still had a fantastic time. We were also delighted to receive a room upgrade before arrival through our Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts booking, which was a wonderful way to start our holiday and made the stay feel even more special. A huge thank you to Natcha, our butler, who was brilliant throughout our stay. She regularly checked in with us, made sure everything was running smoothly and was always on hand if we needed anything. Her kindness and attention to detail really stood out and made us feel incredibly well looked after. One of the highlights of the trip was our couples massage at Asaya Spa. It was such a relaxing experience, and we also made good use of the complimentary sauna facilities afterwards. It was the perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon. We also absolutely loved Ta Khai. The food was so good that we ended up going back a second time during our stay, which says it all really. My husband was celebrating his birthday during our stay, and although the team had not been informed in advance, they still went out of their way to make the occasion feel special by surprising us with a cake. It was a thoughtful gesture that was greatly appreciated and perfectly reflected the genuine hospitality we experienced throughout our visit. The service across the resort was excellent, especially from the buggy drivers, who were always friendly, cheerful and happy to help. What we appreciated most was that the service never felt formal or forced. It had all the attention and professionalism you’d expect from a luxury resort, but it also felt genuinely warm and welcoming. Even with the weather not being on our side, we had a wonderful stay and left feeling completely relaxed. Rosewood Phuket is a very special place and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Our stay at Rosewood Phuket was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The service was impeccable, the rooms were beautifully designed and maintained, and every detail reflected the hotel’s commitment to excellence. This was our second stay, and once again, you made our trip truly unforgettable. Thank you to the entire team for your warmth, professionalism, and outstanding hospitality. It’s rare to find a place that feels like a home away from home, and Rosewood Phuket has done exactly that. We can’t wait to return and create even more wonderful memories. Until next time!
