Sazón
Sazón brings Spanish fire cooking to Jalan Pantai Batu Bolong in Canggu. Paella is the centrepiece, cooked over open flame, and the restaurant runs nightly paella masterclasses for guests who want to learn the technique. The dining room won Best Design at the Tatler Best Indonesia 2026 awards.
The rest of the menu is Mediterranean, with grilled seafood and meats alongside the rice dishes. Andrew Walsh, formerly of the Michelin-starred CURE in Singapore, is involved in the kitchen.
Mains start from around IDR 180,000++ (about USD 10). The Sunday brunch costs IDR 750,000++ (about USD 42 before tax and service). Sazón serves dinner every night except Tuesday, with lunch on Saturdays.

Had a lovely family dinner at sazon. Love the octopus croquette and ceviche for starters, and had the yummiest beef cheek lasagna (beef cheek was thick and juicy) and tasty prawn bisque risotto. Also love the dry aged duck, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Warm and beautiful decor. We also moved to the garden side to hangout after dinner which was so nice. Service was top notch. Will definitely be back❤️

The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between elegant and relaxed, making it ideal for both date nights and gatherings with friends. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, adding to the overall experience. If you're looking for a sophisticated Mediterranean restaurant in Canggu with great food, beautiful interiors, and excellent hospitality, Sazón is definitely worth visiting. I can't wait to come back.
A Mediterranean escape in the heart of Canggu. ✨🍷 Dinner at Sazón was an experience that perfectly blended refined flavors, warm hospitality, and a beautifully designed atmosphere. From the beautifully plated dishes to the inviting atmosphere, every detail feels carefully curated. If you’re looking for a sophisticated dining experience with exceptional food and a cozy yet vibrant vibe, Sazón is definitely worth adding to your Canggu dining list. ✨🍽️
Sazón is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Canggu. The atmosphere is vibrant and stylish, but still relaxed enough to enjoy a long dinner with friends. The restaurant blends Spanish and Mediterranean flavors with fresh local ingredients, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The food was excellent, especially the grilled dishes and sharing plates. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced, and the presentation was beautiful without feeling pretentious. The cocktails were also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. What really stood out was the service. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about the experience they create for guests. You can tell they care about the details. If you’re in Canggu and want a place with great food, great drinks, and a lively atmosphere, Sazón is absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended. There. Polished, positive, and no dramatic poetry about “life-changing tapas.” Just a solid review that actually helps the restaurant instead of sounding like it was written by someone who discovered food yesterday. 🍽️
We came here for our wedding anniversary dinner and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was stylish and cozy, but what impressed us most was the food. The Wagyu Sir Harry, rigatoni, salad, cocktails, and tiramisu were honestly some of our favorite dishes from this Bali trip. My husband usually doesn’t say much about food, but we both kept talking about how amazing everything was. A special thank you to Putra for being so kind and attentive throughout the evening. We only casually mentioned our anniversary, and the thoughtful tiramisu and Polaroid photo made the night even more memorable. Since this was our anniversary dinner, we originally planned to visit just once — but we’re already thinking about coming back again tomorrow because we enjoyed it that much.

More Restaurants in Bali

Apéritif
Apéritif is the fine-dining restaurant at Viceroy Bali, set above the Petanu River valley a short drive from central Ubud. The room is styled after a 1920s colonial dining salon, with its own bar. Executive chef Nic Vanderbeeken, who is Belgian, applies European technique to Indonesian ingredients. Tatler Best Indonesia named it one of the country's 20 best restaurants in both 2025 and 2026.

Cuca
Cuca is Jimbaran's most exciting restaurant and one of the most original dining concepts on the island. Chef Kevin Cherkas, who trained at elBulli and Arzak in Spain and at Daniel in New York, opened Cuca with Virginia Entizne in 2013. He brings a distinctly creative sensibility to a menu built around small, tapas-style plates designed for sharing. The setting is deliberately casual, an open-air pavilion surrounded by gardens, which belies the technical sophistication of the cooking.

Home by Chef Wayan
Home by Chef Wayan sits on Jalan Pantai Pererenan, just west of Canggu. Chef Wayan Kresna Yasa is Balinese, trained in Michelin-starred kitchens and later cooked for the Potato Head group, and he co-wrote the cookbook PAON. His own restaurant serves modern Balinese and Indonesian cooking in the style of a family table. Tatler Best Indonesia 2026 named it one of the country's 20 best restaurants, the only one in the Canggu area.
