Victoria Beach
Victoria Beach is Menaggio's former municipal lido, bought at auction by the Grand Hotel Victoria in 2022 and reopened in July 2024 after a full renovation. It sits on Via Roma, a short walk from the Menaggio ferry stop, and is now the most expensive and most polished beach club on Lake Como.
The site has a sand beach, three pools (a lake-view infinity pool, a relaxation pool with water jets and a children's pool), a restaurant, bars, cabanas and changing rooms. Everything is booked online, by zone and package.
Prices are high and vary by season and row. In August 2026 the cheapest umbrella with two sunbeds cost around EUR 95 including the booking fee, the rear beach rows around EUR 150, and the top packages with a gazebo and parking close to EUR 390. If you want a free swim in Menaggio, Spiaggia Lerai is a short walk north.
Guest Reviews
Victoria Beach in Menaggio is, without a doubt, the most beautiful beach I have seen on Lake Como. The location is absolutely stunning, with incredible views of the lake and mountains. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and we had an excellent experience at the restaurant. The food was of very high quality and the service was equally good. A beautiful place to spend the day, relax and enjoy Lake Como. Definitely worth visiting!
Great view and experience. Pool was very clean. Kids had a blast. The cocktails are overpiced as you would expect. €22 each. Staff was nice. Would definitely go again. We got a silver spot (€90) on the upper deck and it ended up being the best spot in the place IMO. Cheap and shaded with full view of the pool and scenery. No one really swims in the lake, so the beach rentals seem like a waste of money. Enjoy!
A beautifully designed facility. Probably the nicest “beach” experience you can have on the lake. And of course, the surroundings are stunning. To be in an infinity pool looking out at lake Como is just amazing. The drinks are a little pricey but the food (especially the pizza) is excellent. Highly recommended!
Absolutely magical experience! Stunning views, amazing non-stop entertainment, and delicious fluffy candy floss was such a lovely surprise. Big thanks to Vanina and our wonderful male waiter—they were so kind, attentive, and made our night perfect! Pure luxury and joy from start to finish. We 100% recommend and will most definitely be visiting again. Thank you.
We had a marvellous beach sunny day with all the outstanding scenes you could imagine with an amazingly served ‘spaghetti con aragosta’ plate along with both Spritz and wine at the Err Restaurant & Bar. We had to book ahead the day before our arrival and received with highly professional welcoming. This place is managed by a five-star hotel group. Highly recommended. Definitely will try to revisit if I get the chance and time.
