Lido di Lenno
Lido di Lenno sits on the Golfo di Venere in Lenno, on the western shore, right beside the headland of Villa del Balbianello. Since May 2025 it has been run by Giulietta al Lago as a beach club, with a fine sand beach, a lawn, sunbeds, umbrellas and gazebos.
The bar opens from 9:30am and the restaurant kitchen from 11:45am to 9pm. You order food and drinks from your sunbed through an app. Outside food and drink are not allowed, and pets are not allowed on the beach.
Booking is online only, by 7am on the day, and it fills up in high season. The operator does not publish prices; reports from 2025 put sunbed packages at EUR 45 to 75 including lunch, so check before you go. Pair a morning visit to Villa del Balbianello with an afternoon here.

Beautiful experience at Giulietta Al Lago, I couldn’t recommend it more! My friend and I spent the entire day at the beach, enjoying the sunbed lounge, umbrella, table, and towels in the front row with an incredible view of the lake. We had such a relaxing time swimming and soaking up the atmosphere. The whole area felt very safe, well-maintained, and thoughtfully looked after. We also enjoyed a lovely glass of white wine, followed by lunch at the restaurant, where we had some truly wonderful dishes. What made the experience even more memorable was the staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and treated us like VIPs. A truly special day, we’ll definitely be back!
I am wondering from where the 4.7 rating comes from. Parmigiana was the only good thing among what we got. Lasagne was way too salty and didn’t taste fresh. Waitress was friendly and spoke English. However, the lady to whom we paid and a men (manager?) way below standards. We weren’t done and still were talking to her while she already started talking to the next ones. We were a group of 6 and paid separately so it took a moment to have it done. The manager(?) came asking what is the mess here. This represents standard of the place.. the view is beautiful but I would definitely not recommend going there.
Best french fries I’ve ever had, really nice restaurant with an amazing view. Really nothing to complain about except 4€ fee per person for “service”.
We came here to eat after visiting Villa del Balbianello. Such a perfect time for some food and drinks! The staff was really friendly and we loved every bite and every sip ☺️🍹🍝
We came on a rainy day to get a coffee and dessert after lunch to wait out the rain. When we ordered our waitress interrupted our order to ask if we were going to order anything besides desserts. We said no and she then told us we had to leave our table and move to a table in the corner. We had to then re order and wait again. Very strange experience and unfriendly service. Nice view of the lake, average food.
