Rossellinis
Perched high above the coast in Ravello, Rossellinis delivers Michelin-starred dining with views that would justify the visit even if the food were mediocre. The food, however, is anything but.
The tasting menus are elegant and technically accomplished, drawing on the coast's produce, those Amalfi lemons again, along with superb local fish and vegetables from the hillside gardens. The wine list leans heavily toward Campanian producers, and the sommelier knows the region's emerging estates well.
Budget EUR 140-200 per person. This is a restaurant that rewards a long, unhurried evening, and the first reservation to make if you are staying in Ravello.
Guest Reviews
Compare to other one star Michelin restaurants, the staff service is very disappointed. The captain attitude was very arrogant until I speak Italian to him. He just throw the menu to the table. I never seen this in Michelin restaurants. Dishes are ok but not outstanding. Some local Italian restaurant does better. The pasta not even Al dente.
Absolutely amazing! We did the tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was spectacular. The view is breathtaking. Highly recommend!
This was the final meal capping an enjoyable week visiting the Amalfi Coast. We had made advanced reservations and tried the £250 menu. Service was excellent, together with the wines ordered along with the food.
We had a special dinner here to celebrate our honeymoon. This was the most elegant experience we’ve ever had. It starts out with a pre-dinner experience where you have a glass of champagne and appetizers, then after you select your menu experience, they take you upstairs for your dining experience. 10/10
Most beautiful view of the amalfi coast. Spectacular service and experience. Recommend arriving early enough to enjoy the sunset. I did one of the chef tasting menus and everything was delicious. Som made excellent recommendations for a white to pair with smaller dishes and a red to go with main dish.

Chez Black
An institution on Positano's main beach since 1949, Chez Black is the kind of place where you will see A-listers in linen shirts eating pizza alongside Italian families on holiday. The wood-fired pizzas are excellent, the seafood pasta is reliable, and the people-watching is world-class.

Cumpa Cosimo
At the opposite end of the spectrum from Rossellinis, Cumpa Cosimo has been feeding visitors and locals in Ravello since 1929. The portions are enormous, the pasta is handmade daily, and the atmosphere is cheerfully chaotic.

Don Alfonso 1890
Don Alfonso holds one Michelin star and has kept its place among the south's finest restaurants for decades. The Iaccarino family's restaurant sits above the coast in the quiet hilltop village of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, away from the tourist crush below.
