Next2
A more contemporary option in Positano, Next2 serves creative Mediterranean cooking in a stylish but relaxed setting. The menu changes frequently, and there is a real commitment to local sourcing that goes beyond marketing language.
Portions are generous by fine-dining standards, and the candlelit terrace makes a fine spot for a special dinner without the formality of La Sponda.
Expect EUR 80-120 per person. Reservations are recommended, particularly in peak season.

Go. You MUST GO! We ate at 2 Michelin starred restaurants in Positano and Next2 is superior to both! It is set in an enoteca which is adorable. The staff is amazing. But the food is the star. So inventive without going overboard. The presentations are spectacular and the food is beyond delicious. This was BY FAR the best place that we ate at in 5 nights in Positano.
Unreal dining experience in Positano! Roberto was a fantastic server! He provided phenomenal dinner recommendations and even brought a blanket over to my wife when she was cold. Their homemade bread and bufffalo butter was the best I’ve ever had. The zucchini flower starter was dreamy as well! You can’t go wrong here! Make it a plan on your Positano trip!
THE best meal and experience we had in Italy. We started our trip in Rome and then stayed in Positano for a few days, this is the best experience (mid 30s couple). Service is beyond incredible, welcoming, caring but delicate and not overwhelming, a white tablecloth restaurant without the uptight atmosphere. The balance of the flavours, the right twist on the traditional meals, the coherence of the decor (+ the view obv).. all excellent! A week back and this is still the only meal we talk about.
Great restaurant with delicious food. I booked it for my birthday, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. Everything was perfect.
I can hands down say that after a week in Positano, we’ve had our best dinner at “Next 2”. Everything we ordered came out cooked to perfection. They have a very extensive list of cocktails and wines to accommodate the varied menu on hand. We started off with the Polpo and the Lobster bao buns which were both so juicy to eat. For our main we shared the carbonara gnocchi which was also absolutely delicious and creamy. The star of the show was definitely the Chateaubriand we shared. One of the most delicious cuts we’ve had, accompanied by a searing hot Himalayan salt slab which you can use to lightly cook the pieces further to your temperature liking. Overall I would highly recommend a visit to this place, and also want to say a thank you for the great hospitality to Roberto and Guiseppe who both made the night very special.

Chez Black
An institution on Positano's main beach since 1949, Chez Black is the kind of place where you will see A-listers in linen shirts eating pizza alongside Italian families on holiday. The wood-fired pizzas are excellent, the seafood pasta is reliable, and the people-watching is world-class.

Cumpa Cosimo
At the opposite end of the spectrum from Rossellinis, Cumpa Cosimo has been feeding visitors and locals in Ravello since 1929. The portions are enormous, the pasta is handmade daily, and the atmosphere is cheerfully chaotic.

Don Alfonso 1890
Don Alfonso holds one Michelin star and has kept its place among the south's finest restaurants for decades. The Iaccarino family's restaurant sits above the coast in the quiet hilltop village of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, away from the tourist crush below.
