Le Arcate
Atrani is the Amalfi Coast's smallest and, to many minds, most charming village, a tight cluster of houses around a tiny piazza just a five-minute walk from Amalfi but feeling entirely separate. Le Arcate, facing the village square, serves what may be the best-value lunch on the entire coastline.
The pizza is excellent, the pasta dishes are generous, and a full meal with wine can come in under EUR 25 per person. The quality-to-price ratio is startling given the location.
It will not win design awards, but that is rather the point.
Guest Reviews
I celebrated my 30th birthday here and had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was flawless from start to finish. Everyone was incredibly kind, especially Antonio, the owner, who made the evening even more special. Highly recommended!
We were here Sept 2023 doing the Amalfi coast. We really had a fabulous time. Atrani was beautiful. We stopped by this restaurant and we had some lunch. Were really happy here. The food was excellent and the service was topnotch! It is in a very nice setting and the view is stunning. We will visit again when we are in area thats for sure. Definitely recommended. Look at the photos!
We tried pasta with sea food, and tagliatelle with zuccini and prawns. Both dishes were amazing, the prawns specifically were top notch. All pasta cost around 25-30€. The staff were all very kind and friendly, the atmosphere, given the location and view, was pretty good. However, there is a big problem with waps in the area if the reastaurant, which kept coming at us, but the staff was nice and kept chasing them away.
Delicious Food & Stunning Views Le Arcate in Atrani truly exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely fantastic—easily some of the best we’ve had on the Amalfi Coast, and at much more reasonable prices than the busier spots in Amalfi. The view of the sea made the experience even more special, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend the tuna tartare—it was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. The tuna and bocconcini salad was also light, refreshing, and beautifully presented. But the standout for me was the lemon cream pasta… it was unforgettable, the kind of dish that will haunt you (in the best way) long after you leave. Their limoncello spritz was the perfect pairing to it all—bright, refreshing, and well balanced. Everyone at the restaurant was extremely friendly and welcoming. The only area for improvement would be the service, which was mostly great but had a couple of small hiccups—like having to wave someone down for more water or a drink refill, and a missed plate that was quickly corrected. Nothing major, but worth mentioning for a fully fair review. Overall, Le Arcate is a must-visit if you’re in Atrani or amalfi. A true gem with excellent food, genuine hospitality, and breathtaking views. We’ll absolutely be back.
Everything was amazing, especially the Scialatielli and Tiramisu. Excellent food quality, friendly service, and an amazing view on the beach.

Chez Black
An institution on Positano's main beach since 1949, Chez Black is the kind of place where you will see A-listers in linen shirts eating pizza alongside Italian families on holiday. The wood-fired pizzas are excellent, the seafood pasta is reliable, and the people-watching is world-class.

Cumpa Cosimo
At the opposite end of the spectrum from Rossellinis, Cumpa Cosimo has been feeding visitors and locals in Ravello since 1929. The portions are enormous, the pasta is handmade daily, and the atmosphere is cheerfully chaotic.

Don Alfonso 1890
Don Alfonso holds one Michelin star and has kept its place among the south's finest restaurants for decades. The Iaccarino family's restaurant sits above the coast in the quiet hilltop village of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, away from the tourist crush below.
