Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France
LVMH's flagship Caribbean property occupies a prime stretch of Flamands beach, arguably the island's most beautiful strand of sand. The aesthetic is barefoot luxury at its most polished: whitewashed walls, billowing linens, tropical gardens that feel wild despite meticulous curation.
The two-Michelin-star restaurant, helmed by a rotating cast of visiting chefs, consistently delivers some of the finest meals on the island. The spa is outstanding. What sets Cheval Blanc apart is the service philosophy: intuitive, anticipatory, never intrusive.
Expect to pay from EUR 1,500 per night in high season, with the most coveted suites reaching multiples of that figure. This is the property for travellers who want the world's best hotel experience in a Caribbean setting.
Guest Reviews
Words can not even begin to describe how grateful we are for our stay at your incredible resort. From the moment we got off the plane to the moment we were escorted back to the airport we had some of the top service we have ever experienced. We were greeted by the whole team which was great to put a face to the name right when we got to the property. The butler service was there for any needs and always prompt with a response. The concierge team did a fantastic job with our dinner reservations. The resort is stunning. Everywhere you look is picture perfect. The food and service at both restaurants were fantastic. All the special amenities that were brought to the room upon arrival and nightly, the evening tea, rum punch, water bottles, tub filled with rose pedals. You have thought of everything. As an avid traveler I wanted to share how much we appreciated the amazing bathroom amenities, Dyson hair dryer, straightener, and steamer as well as the high-end shampoo, conditioner. These are all items no one wants to pack but we do because few hotels provide top of the line products. Thank you for going above and beyond. We can not wait to send our clients to your hotel. We cannot say enough about your incredible resort.
Just a word of thanks to our sommelier Édouard alongside Mamadou who made our bday lunch for a friend truly memorable. After looking through the wine list and spotting my fave house Larmandier Bernier, I told him my favourite champagnes all come from Vertus but that I’m not in love with the particular Larmandier Bernier on offer. Édouard proceeded to find us an excellent alternative - brut nature, from Vertus - that tasted incredible. We ended up going for a Salon too as the team helped create such a convivial atmosphere. Thanks Cheval Blanc for bringing together a killer team at your St Barth location! PS The patisserie team is crazy good so make sure to pre-order a bday cake from them if you’re planning a celebratory lunch like us!
Our stay at Cheval Blanc St-Barth was, in a word, exceptional. The resort is stunning both inside and out—every space feels thoughtfully curated, elegant, and truly transportive. It’s clear that Cheval Blanc pays attention to every aspect of a guest’s experience, down to the smallest detail. Our suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The ocean view alone felt like a luxury; watching the waves each morning was one of the highlights of our stay. The grounds are lush, green, and dreamy—almost like a Caribbean rainforest woven into a beachfront paradise. What truly sets Cheval Blanc apart, though, is the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, pleasant, and genuinely helpful. Every interaction felt sincere and effortless, and their dedication to hospitality made our stay unforgettable. The cuisine was outstanding across the board. Whether it was beachside bites, dishes at the bar, or dinner at the hotel restaurant, La Case, every meal was thoughtful, flavorful, and impeccably prepared. We dined at several other well-known resorts during our time in St. Barth, and none came close to matching the quality and creativity of Cheval Blanc’s offerings. Cheval Blanc St-Barth is the definition of a relaxing, refined Caribbean getaway. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an upscale, peaceful, and beautifully executed island escape.
We spent our family holidays at Cheval Blanc St-Barth in December 2024, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The hotel offers a perfect balance of refinement, comfort and discretion. The service is impeccable, warm and attentive, making every moment effortless. The setting in Flamands Bay is simply beautiful, ideal for a peaceful and memorable stay. Without question, Cheval Blanc St-Barth remains one of the finest luxury hotels for a family vacation in Saint-Barthélemy.
Been coming here for 5 years - it's a wonderful place with a fantastic staff and owner. Great food, great beach and vibes. Shoutout to Brice who always takes excellent care of everyone.
More Hotels in St. Barts

Eden Rock
No conversation about St. Barts accommodation begins anywhere else. Eden Rock occupies a dramatic rocky promontory that divides St. Jean beach into two crescents, and its position alone would make it iconic. But the hotel earns its reputation through relentless attention to detail: individually designed suites, a Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant, and a wine cellar that reads like a love letter to Burgundy.

Hotel Le Toiny
If seclusion is what you're after, Le Toiny delivers it with style. Set on a steep hillside above wild, windswept Toiny beach on the island's southeastern coast, this is the most private of St. Barts' major hotels. Each suite is essentially a standalone villa with its own plunge pool, terrace, and unobstructed ocean view.
