Orega
The newest arrival on the island's fine-dining scene, Orega has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting kitchens on St. Barts. The concept is Japanese-French, a fusion that can go wrong in careless hands but here is handled with genuine skill. The menu moves fluidly between the two traditions without feeling forced.
The omakase-style tasting menu (around 150 EUR per person) is the way to experience Orega at its best. Expect courses like miso-glazed black cod with beurre blanc, wagyu tartare with shiso and ponzu, and a yuzu tart with matcha cream that manages to be both delicate and deeply flavoured.
The space is sleek and minimalist, a departure from the rustic-chic aesthetic that dominates most St. Barts restaurants. The cocktail programme is inventive, with Japanese whisky and sake featuring alongside classic French spirits. This is the restaurant for travellers who have eaten at Bonito and Le Tamarin on previous trips and want something new.

We absolutely loved our tasting menu at Orega! For 80€ we had 4 amazing courses filled with flavors and textures. My favorite was the tuna foie gras- absolutely delicious. The cocktails weren’t anything special for the price, but still good. The little twinkling lights and the ambiance they created was so lovely. We would definitely go back!
Amazing meal. Everything was delicious and the team running the restaurant were so attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Such an enjoyable experience. The divided everything we ordered in half for us (party of two), making sharing a few plates extremely enjoyable. One of our favorite meals in St Barths. The Tuna Kanzo is a must try.
Orega has excellent service and delicious, Japanese inspired food! The sea bass and duck rolls were our favorite dishes, followed by the chocolate bomb dessert. NOTE: Google Maps shows an incorrect location, the entrance is located across the road from Eddy’s
Orega is a top restaurant in Saint Barth. The chef is inovative and cook onloy the best ingredients. You can eat at Orega a real Toro Tuna or a real japanese meat which is unique. This restaurant desserves a Michelin star for sure. The team made of dynamic young girls and boys makes you spend an enjoyable moment in a cosy athmosphere. To discover and to rediscover all the time.
Disappointed with this meal. We had been in 2019 and loved it, but for whatever reason the food this time was bland and tasteless, and very over priced for the quality. The staff were excellent - friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. However, the execution in the kitchen is really lacking for a restaurant charging €50 for an appetiser. There’s a lot of great food in St Barth, I wouldn’t waste a meal here until they improve.

Bonito
Perched above Gustavia harbour with panoramic views across the yachts and waterfront, Bonito is the fine-dining restaurant that most first-time visitors discover and the one that veterans keep returning to. The setting is spectacular: an open-air terrace with gauze curtains, candlelight, and a view that somehow manages to be glamorous without trying too hard.

Le Tamarin
Set in a lush garden beneath an enormous tamarind tree in Saline, Le Tamarin has been a St. Barts institution for years. The dining room is effectively outdoors, with tables scattered across a shaded terrace and into the garden, dappled light filtering through the canopy. It's one of the most beautiful restaurant settings in the Caribbean, particularly at lunch when the garden is at its most luminous.
