L'Arôme by the Sea sits on the cliffs at Kalim, just north of Patong, with a dining room that looks straight out to the Andaman Sea at sunset. Executive chef Maksym Chukanov, who has worked at Noma and Ikarus, cooks a seafood-led modern French tasting menu with Asian influences and plenty of fermentation and grilling.

It ranked No. 1 in the TOP25 Restaurants Phuket and Southern Thailand awards for 2025, and it is in the Michelin Guide. There is a seasonal tasting menu and a vegetarian tasting menu.

It opens daily from 4pm to 11pm, with the last seating at 9:45pm. Book a table for sunset and ask for the window.
